Rockin’ LA at Malibu’s Paradise Cove under the sunset light with a beach boardwalk as the stage and the ocean waves crashing against it, Saint Laurent presented their Men ́s latest extravaganza.

Inspired by Marrakech in the 70’s and two particular muses Serge Gainsbourg and Mick Jagger, specially pointing towards the Rolling Stones 1975 Tour of the Americas, Anthony Vaccarello revealed what inspired this collection: “I met Mick Jagger, as I am dressing him for his new tour, and he talked a lot about his relationship with Yves Saint Laurent. He was showing me pictures of him in Marrakech, and I was inspired by that period of the 1970s.”  the show notes underlined “The ultimate timeless bohemian attitude”.

“Paint It Black” the most used color for this collection, with few whites, and a touch of colors, cropped jackets, thin ties, leather belts,  unbuttoned shirts, transparencies, with glittery tones lightened up the catwalk. Moving to more loose, free-flowing silhouettes, harem trousers made an appearance, a symbol of Vaccarello’s love for Marrakech, blending everything together into  a bohemian eternal look that dives into gender fluidity.

Blacks and whites with sparkling details, transparency, silk, and feathers, the leading elements  presenting a glimpse inside the Pre-Fall Women collection made their appearance too.

"I love anything that feels like it’s fluid, and I just think anyone can wear these clothes, It’s so beautiful and there’s so much diversity, I love it. I love ‘70s rock 'n' roll and I think this just embodied the spirit of ‘70s rock 'n' roll, so I love it.” Said Miley Cyrus, who was sitting on the front row with other celebrities like Liam Hemsworth, Salma Hayek Pinault, Laura Dern and Keanu Reeves, recent Saint Laurent campaign star.
