The 70s are making a comeback in the new Michael Kors x Ellesse collaboration. This collection includes graphic prints of the Michael Kors logo meshed with Ellesse's logo. The retro color palette pulls inspiration from the 1970s with bright oranges, yellow oranges, reds, navy blues and a white base to contrast the bold colors. The sporty tennis collection has 24 items for both men and women, with accessories made to coincide with the looks. Bucket hats, chunky sneakers and the Hudson backpack made appearances in the campaign to bring the ad and outfits together. In addition, the campaign features Emily Ratajkowski and features Jay Critch as the video campaign highlights his music. A party was hosted Thursday night, May 13th at Bar SixtyFive in New York City to kick off the new collection. The 65th floor flooded with friends of the house such as Amelia Gray, Tayshia Adams, Harry Hamlin, Alina Baikova, Valentina Ferrer and Jessica Wang. Most showed up in the 70s-inspired looks supporting the union of the brands. The cocktail party wasn't the only thing that happened for the brands that day. Michael Kors also held a one-of-a-kind shopping experience at the flagship store in Rockefeller Center. The collaboration unites the classics of the Michael Kors brans and the sportiness of Ellesse to make one capsule collection.
