Saturated with bold colors and avant-garde pieces, Dior's newest collab marks its first collection of the year. The collection, dreamed up by Dior Men’s Creative Director Kim Jones in tandem with Japanese sculptor Otani Workshop, introduces over 30 unique pieces inspired by the artist’s eccentric perspective of Japanese ceramics.
The capsule introduces fans to an edgier look, with sketch-like designs of Dior’s name on bomber jackets and ties. It features baseball caps embroidered with a little green monster curated by Otani himself, along with sunglasses seen in Dior’s Spring-Summer 2024 fashion show and other imaginative pieces.Â
Otani Workshop, occasionally mistaken for multiple artists, is a singular sculptor who has paved his way within the ceramic world through playful creations. His work has a one-of-a-kind look, with many of his figures displaying bulging heads, extended middle fingers, and, as displayed throughout Dior’s designs, vibrant palettes.Â
