Boho chic ensembles hailing from the mind of newly appointed creative director Chemena Kamali pair eras together to create a show championing Chloé's long-standing philosophy of celebrating the intrinsic female experience. Kamali says of the collection "For me dressing is a part of self-discovery: how we evolve as women in different stages of our life; how we continue to define and embrace who we are.”

If anyone's well-equipped to bring forward this new era for the label it's certainly Kamali, who worked as a junior designer for the brand in the noughties. Referencing this full circle moment in her show notes, she talks about wanting to "bring back the feeling I had when I first stepped through the doors here 20 years ago and fell in love with the Chloé woman's spirit".

Feminine silhouettes are paired with bolder pieces that provide an edge to the looks, with black leather jackets over frilly dresses, knee high statement boots, and oversized bags. Notable items include the gold logo belts spelling out “Chloé”, referencing the label’s namesake who was a friend of the founder Gaby Aghion’s, adding an element of bold whimsy and nostalgia to the collection.

Transparency through sheer layers of lace and chiffon provides a more nuanced take on the "naked" trend that has swept through the fashion scene recently, with bodices and outerwear breaking up the ruffled silhouettes of blouses and flowing trousers. "It's very much about an intuitive way of dressing, about lightness, movement, fluidity and motion." Kamali stated, insinuating how she wanted to prioritize beauty and elegance done in an effortless manner.

During the Chloé Fall Winter 24 show, another reference point was the 1970s, with a special ode to the late Karl Lagerfeld, with boot cut flares, maxi coats and kitten heel clogs making a key appearance. Gracing the runway included the likes of Pat Cleveland and Jerry Hall, who modelled for Lagerfeld in the 80s, as well as a line-up of Chloé muses including Sienna Miller, Doutzen Kroes, Jessica Miller and Liya Kebede.
