On May 16, Bulgari unveiled its Mediterranea High Jewelry Collection in Venice, featuring more than 400 one-of-a-kind accessories, with pieces valued at over a million dollars. The long-anticipated show took place at the Palazzo Ducale and highlighted the fashion house's affinity for the Mediterranean Sea.
Creatively orchestrated by French Editor Carine Roitfled, the high-profile event drew inspiration from regions like Rome, Venice, and Sicily and paid homage to Sotirio Bulgari, the brand's founder. Models like Stella Maxwell and Eva Herzigova strutted the runway in neutral-colored fabrics and barely-there makeup, allowing Bulgari's collection to shine.
In attendance were brand ambassadors Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Yifei Liu, Yang Yang, Hikari Mori, Lashana Lynch, and Blackpink's Lisa. The stars walked the red carpet ahead of the show, with stylists Law Roach and Erin Walsh not far behind them. The ambassadors wore pieces from the collection—including the Yellow Diamond Hypnosis necklace seen on Zendaya and The Passage To Emerald necklace donned by Blackpink's Lisa.
During the show, models wore jeweled shoes by Renè Caovi adorned with an ankle strap shaped like a snake. The shoe honored the brand's Serpenti line, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
Once the runway show concluded, guests enjoyed a private dinner in the Sala dello Scrutinio of Palazzo Ducale, where American singer-songwriter Norah Jones performed her classic hit Don't Know Why.
