From Rose Bertin, Marie Antoinette’s fashion designer who brought fashion and haute couture to French Culture, to todays world of Haute Couture Winter 2018, the fashions of Paris have never failed to surprise and amaze us.  Chanel shows are always so spectacularly extravagant, and King Karl mastered this vision, as he always does.

Kaia Gerber, 16 year old daughter of Cindy Crawford model prodigy, soaked up the spotlight as she made her couture debut at the Grand Palais in Paris with Chanel, by walking Karl Lagerfeld’s latest masterpiece down the runway. Bringing us back to what couture used to be all about; a breath of Parisian air classically wrapped in luxurious handcrafted and embroidered masterpieces for upper class societies Chanel had their collection shown in a fanciful garden setting alongside a bubbling fountain and about 10,000 roses.
