It’s the holidays again, and like your Christmas stockings this year’s Golden Globe is stacked with goodies. In the Drama and Comedy categories Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water, alongside Steven Spielberg's The Post, Neon/30West’s I, Tonya and A24’s Lady Bird catches the Hollywood Foreign Press’ attention. Surprisingly, Greta Gerwig and Jordan Peele are left off best directors list, giving us a little drama. On the TV side, HBO’s Big Little Lies and Isse Rae’s insanely popular show Insecure are expected to be all the talk.

Full of big winner’s, powerful speeches, black dresses and as always a little political drama, The 75th annual Golden Globe ceremony, hosted by Seth Meyers did not disappoint. Being the first post-Weinstein event in Hollywood, the ceremony came with kick-punching acceptance speeches from Oprah and dozens of our favorite actresses wearing stunning black dresses supporting the “Time’s Up” and #MeToo movements against sexual harassment.
